Development ProgrammeIn August 2018, we launched a Development Programme aimed at students coming into Plockton High School from the feeder primary schools. Students enrolled on the programme are brought out of the normal High School timetable for one 50 minute period of instrumental or vocal tuition from the Centre’s first study tutor, plus two groupwork sessions held over Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes (the High School offer a takeaway ‘Grab and Go’ lunch service). At the end of S2, students on the programme can audition for the full Music School to start the following August as an S3 student.Entry is by a similar audition process as for the main Music School, and Advisory Auditions are also available for the Development Programme.
